The Quiet Place Programme is a holistic, faith-based journey that invites participants into stillness, prayer, and creative expression. Through meditation, prayer, clay, art, and journaling, participants are guided to encounter God, reflect deeply, and create meaningfully, allowing inner transformation to take shape.
Through this integrated programme, participants are invited to:
- Deepen their relationship with God
- Experience healing, clarity, and spiritual renewal
- Discover creativity as a form of prayer
- Develop reflective practices that can be sustained beyond the space
Meditation and Stillness
Meditation at The Quiet Place is rooted in Christian contemplation. Participants are guided into silence and stillness, learning to quiet external noise and internal distractions in order to become attentive to God’s presence. These moments of stillness create space for listening, discernment, and inner rest, forming the foundation for prayer and creative work.
Clay Pottery
Inspired by the biblical imagery of the Potter and the clay, clay pottery sessions offer a tactile, reflective experience, but with spiritual depth. Participants work with clay in a relaxed, guided environment, allowing the physical act of shaping to mirror God’s shaping work in their lives. No prior experience is required; this is about process, presence, and prayer, not perfection.
Art (Therapeutic and Prophetic)
Art sessions provide a safe, supportive space for creative expression through painting, drawing, and mixed media. Therapeutic art helps participants process emotions, experiences, and healing, while prophetic art invites participants to respond visually to Scripture, prayer, and what they sense God may be revealing. Artistic skill is not the focus; authentic expression and spiritual reflection are.
Journaling and Writing
Journaling is used as a spiritual and creative discipline that helps participants give language to their inner journey. Through guided prompts and practical writing skills, participants explore reflective writing, prayer journaling, and storytelling for meaning and growth. Writing becomes a tool for self-awareness, spiritual formation, and capturing insights encountered during prayer and creative sessions.
